Who supports and pays for
this website?
The Arcadia High Alumni Association is a member supported, non profit
organization. Our mission is to help coordinate reunions, bring our
members alumni news, and provide scholarships to the students of
Arcadia High School.
ArcadiaApaches.com became one group, when it
merged with The Arcadia High School Alumni Association, in May of 2001.
The
Alumni Association
pays for all of the expenses required to keep this website online. We
rely on Arcadia alumni for support, and also receive help from
alumni volunteers who donate their time to keep this site running.
Although our Alma Mater, Arcadia High School has been supportive of
our efforts, they do not in any way contribute to this website.

Who are the sponsors? How do I become one?
The sponsors
are Arcadia High School graduates helping to support us. Most of our
sponsors are individuals, who help us out by making their tax free
donations online. Some sponsors are business owners
who have donated to the alumni association, and in return have received
a link from our website to theirs. We welcome both individuals and
businesses who want to become
sponsors. This website and the Arcadia
High School Alumni Association, cannot survive without support from
generous Arcadia Alumni. Currently the majority of all donations
are made online using PayPal, while some Arcadia Alumni choose to
donate via mail.
We greatly appreciate all that Arcadia Alumni are doing to help us!

What
about the yearbook pictures? Where do I find my graduation photo?
ArcadiaApaches.com
proudly displays 40 yearbooks,
1952-1991.
To our knowledge,
every graduation photo within those years, is online. Because there are
numerous pages containing more that 20,000 AHS graduates, it is possible
some photos were not uploaded to the website. If you believe that a photo
is lost or missing, please contact us at
Support@ArcadiaApaches.org
You can also look
in the camera shy section of the yearbooks (most are listed under "C"
for camera shy), or on the last page of each year. Because scanning is
a time consuming process, not every page of every yearbook is included
on the website. Our primary goal was to be certain that every graduation
photo from 1952-1991 was available for all to view. Unfortunately today's
technology still requires us to scan and touchup one page at a time. The
challenges we faced in deciding how many photos to display, involve complicated
issues like bandwidth, disk space, and file maintenance. We are proud
of the fact that we have 1.9 gigabytes of yearbook photos, making this
the largest alumni website of its type on the internet. In the future
we hope to display the 1992 -2002 yearbooks, provided we have the funds
to do so.

What is the Arcadians Forum?
Is it the same as ArcadiaApaches.com?
The Arcadians Forum
began in December of 2000. Most of our early members came from other alumni
websites like Classmates.com.
Over the last year, our forum has seen rapid growth, and has been ranked
in the top 30 of Delphi's "Education
& Alumni Popular Forums".
The message boards are maintained by alumni volunteers, but the
forum itself is operated by Delphi-Prospero. It's free to join the
Arcadians Forum. Although there are other message board services,
we continue to host on Delphi because it is safe, free and reliable.
The Arcadians Forum is not officially a part of ArcadiaApaches.com, but
is maintained by many of the same volunteers. If you have any questions about the forum, please contact us at
Support@ArcadiaApaches.org

What
is PayPal? Is it safe and secure?
With PayPal, you have an online account
that makes it easy to send money from a variety of sources (like
your credit card or bank account) to a variety of recipients (such
as an online store or The AHS Alumni Association) – without sharing
your financial information. So no one never sees your credit card
number or your banking information.
In January 2000, the service had just ten thousand
users; today, it claims more than
Hundred million accounts.
When you log
into your PayPal account, your payment is made on a secured server.
The AHS Alumni Association is PayPal verified, which
means you can safely transact online with us. If you have any questions
or concerns about using PayPal, please contact us at-
Alumni@ArcadiaApaches.net.

Where do I find information about
my High School reunion?
There are several
ways to find out about reunions. The best way is to become a member of
the Arcadia High School Alumni Association. As a member we can help you organize a reunion,
or simply find others in your class who are getting a reunion off the
ground. You can also contact our Arcadia High School Alumni Association
volunteer Reunion Liaison, at
Alumni@ArcadiaApaches.net

How do I find an old friend or former classmate?
A couple of ways. By posting a message in
the Arcadians Forum,
or by joining the Arcadia High School Alumni Association.
Unfortunately if you email us to find someone, we cannot provide
you with personal information, due to privacy guidelines. Many have had
good luck finding classmates in The
Arcadians Forum.

I lost a friend or a loved one, and would
like to have them placed in the Apache Memorial.
Who do I contact?
Please email us at
Support@ArcadiaApaches.org
We will need to confirm that
the information you are providing is correct, and that the person graduated
from AHS. We also have to carefully cut out each photo from the online
yearbooks to be prepared for proper viewing. Under normal circumstances,
it takes us about 30 days to place your friend or loved one in
The Apache Memorial.
In the event that we are unable to find a graduation photo, their name
will be place on the not pictured list. Please be patient, it is our
volunteers who do this work.
